Personality Questions:
1) List and expand upon your three best traits / strengths. (These should be personality-related, not physical.) Well first off I would say observant. I am often think before I act, but that also means that I'm very aware of my surroundings and atmosphere. So if I were in a group then I would be aware of how each person was feeling and take it into consideration when I contribute to the group.
I could also say that I am compassionate. I feel personally upset when others are, so I am always looking out for others, even if it means that I neglect myself at times.
Lastly I would say... loyalty (not sure if that really qualifies). Once I connect with people I will not betray them. It would be a sin against them, but also against myself.
2) List and expand upon your three worst traits / weaknesses. I am a shy, which means that while I do have many friends I am not a social butterfly by any means. The other two would be that I am pretty gullible and easily manipulated (probably too trusting).
3) Rate yourself on the following traits by putting an 'X' in the box you think fits best. (E.g. if you are slightly more introverted than extroverted, put an 'X' in the second box.) Explain your choice as well.
Introverted [x] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] Extroverted
Explain: I wouldn't say I'm completely introverted because I am a social person, but I think I am a little more than slightly introverted (I hope you understanding what I'm saying!)
Cheerful [ ] [x] [ ] [] [ ] Gloomy
Explain: I like to cheer people up and boost morale in a group. But I'm also known for being realistic and practical, and sometimes that makes me the 'party-pooper'.
Reserved [x] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] Impulsive
Explain: I am sometimes hyperactive or impulsive but I prefer to be organised, I guess.
Energetic [ ] [ ] [ ] [x] [ ] Calm
Explain: I am usually the one who sits and laughs at the people who are doing a victory dance/dancing with joy, so I'd say I'm pretty calm. I'm also the person in the group that helps everyone else relax and stop freaking out.
Logical/Thinking [ ] [ ] [x] [ ] [ ] Emotional/Feeling
Explain: This is a difficult one because I feel that both my emotional side and logical side come out strongly in their own ways.
Grudge-holding [ ] [ ] [ ] [x] [ ] Forgiving
Explain: I do hold grudges and I am not prepared to forgive those people yet. But generally I would only hold a grudge against someone who has betrayed me many times and who has proven that they will not change their ways. I don't like holding grudges against people, especially friends.
4) Describe how you typically work in teams. Is it generally a good experience, or do you prefer working by yourself? Do you like to lead and make decisions or do you prefer to let others make decisions so that you can do the legwork? You may find it helpful to give an example of a team you worked on recently and how that went. I think the best way to describe my role in a team is as the 'supporter'. I am not the leader, but I can step up as a replacement when I must. I am the person who is like the leader's right-hand man; who makes sure everything goes smoothly and that the team is working well together. I suppose that means that I'm good at following orders and I like to do my part for the team in a more subtle way.
5) Spider-Man Decision: If you had to choose between saving two dozen innocent children and saving your best friend/significant other/person closest to you, which would you pick and why? This is tough. I would choose to save the two dozen children, even though I'd feel terrible about the decision.
6) Your friend has had their feelings hurt and comes to you for consolation. What do you do? Let's say, two days later they come to you again still upset over the same issue. What would you do in that case? I would listen to their story and help them understand their feelings. And when they came back to me I would do the same thing until they feel better. I tend to do this for a lot of my friends.
7) What interests/hobbies do you have? How do you like to spend your free time? I play badminton, read, play games, listen to music and watch movies.
8) Describe one to three careers you would find ideal, with a little explanation of why it appeals to you. Um, a career in psychology sounds promising to me because I feel like I can understand and relate to it easily. Other options would be work in health science, either for environment conservation or helping people or both.
FF Questions:
9) List one to three favorite Final Fantasy games and why you like them. Sequels/spin-offs/non-numbered/KH/Dissidia games are okay. Final Fantasy IX will always be my favourite because it was my first game, and to me it is the most 'Final Fantasy' game in the series. I also really enjoyed the storyline. Others that I love are Final Fantasy VII and VI, and that would also be for their plots.
10) List one to three of your favorite Final Fantasy characters and why: Well, off the top of my head I would say Terra Branford (FFVI). Her determination and resolve is inspiring, and I love her character story. Other favourite characters would be Freya and Vivi (FFIX) but there are too many other characters that I love that come so close!
11) One to three characters you relate to (you may reuse answers from #8 if applicable) and why: I relate well to Terra (FFVI) and also to Quistis (FFVIII). She is my favourite character in FFVIII and I can understand her struggles with communicating and belonging to a group.
12) The FF game you liked playing least: I would have to say FFXII. I found it difficult to see with the camera angles but also that there wasn't much of a plot.
13) One to three FF characters you dislike and why: Well there aren't any that I hate (unless I count bosses) so I'd have to say Wakka (FFX) and several optional characters from FFVI just because I don't feel they're necessary.
14) Favorite weapon in a Final Fantasy game (either the name if you liked the name, or a picture if you liked the look of it, or a description if it had awesome stats/abilities): Well, I always loved how Selphie used nunchaku and Quistis used a whip.
15) Your favorite Final Fantasy summon (e.g. Ifrit, Carbuncle, Bahamut, etc.): Bahumut, from various games.
16) Your favorite spell/ability/technique that can be learned in a Final Fantasy game (e.g. Esuna, Steal, special finishes/overdrives such as Tifa's Final Heaven limit break, etc.): I enjoyed using the FVIII Limit Breaks the most, with my favourite probably being Squall's.
17) A Final Fantasy mini-game/sidequest you invested entirely too much time into: Oh, I'd say all of the FFIX sidequests: Chocobo Hot-Cold, Tetra Cards, Stellazio coins, the auction items, the moogle letters etc... all way too much fun. :)
18) Your favorite Cid: That would FFIX's frog/oglop Regent.
19) Optional: Up to one class you think does not fit you, with reasoning why. I have a strange feeling that if I were a Thief I would end up apologising and returning my spoils because I felt guilty. :/
