Hello, everyone! We held off on sharing the revised app (don't worry, it's basically just a C&P job to move your existing app over) because we had something special to finalise and make presentable:

Class Skills!

The new app includes a proper section for detailing stats for OCs (and FCs, if you like) and explains most of the rules so far. Some things to keep in mind:

  • 'Attack Effects' are now being called Modifiers.
  • Personal attacks should only have two effects/modifiers (unless the third is Self). Please don't make a habit of this with your Personal Skills list.
  • You get seven Personal Skills to go with your seven (with some exceptions) Class Skills. Use these to make yourself a unique example of your class!
  • Canonical spells will have consistent attack stats. If you are applying for a canon spell as one of your Personal Skills, just write it in.
  • Weapon is a new 'element'. It will be substituted in class/personal skills that are marked with it using the default physical element you nominate in your stats.
  • Gamblers get six abilities because Slots is amazing and aandyen lost the seventh in a poker game.
  • Callers are designed to combine the flavour of Caller with another class to some degree. They can nominate three Calls to take in addition to their four default Calls.
  • Summoners are pretty similar. They can nominate two Espers they have made pacts with. They retain their Personal Skills list when summoning an Esper.
  • Passives that improve some stat upon hit have a ceiling of improvement, and reset when the condition is failed the next time. +accepting will not trigger these effects.
  • For now, you can set two of your Personal Skills as Limit Breaks. One of those will be your 'signature' Limit Break that appears in +finger.
