Ack, I didn't realise you were European too, I just assume most people who I don't know in fandom are American. It was the eggnog, which although it has its roots in England, doesn't really get much of a loook in over here, though the Americans have adopted it wholeheartedly.

Race, my beta, roleplays a Reno who has a tacky lamp collection, so when I needed a suitably bad taste present I asked her for a suggestion so you can blame her for that :D I can see it developing a skirt or something as well as a scarf, but then he'll have to reach up its skirt to switch it on and that'll just be odd.

Yes, peppermint lube does tingle. There's also cinnamon lube, but it's not for the faint of heart. :)

I'm glad you liked it. Reno has become my favourite character over the years and I love writing him, but I don't do it often enough. So thank you for giving me the chance, even if I couldn't fulfill the X-2 request.

I can't seem to write a gift fic without it turning a little bit angsty, but I'm glad it went over well. I'll continue to blame my beta, Race and the Reno she RP's, for the lamp. Although I'll take the blame for the peppermint lube. :) I love giving porn for xmas. ^_^
