Wow, this could go either way. I can see arguments for both camps throughout your application. (Which was very pleasant to read, I might add.)
Your heroics, though, and your ability to identify with McGonagall push the app slightly towards the side of the Order, in my mind, so I'll go with that, and say you belong with the Order of the Phoenix. I find that much of what you said you identified with Bellatrix on could apply to McGonagall as easily, but not vice versa.

Your application had a lot of personality to it. You took a lot of time writing it and obviously put a lot of thought into what you wanted to say. Likewise, I took a lot of time reading it...
I like that you check out "haunted" places. I love Halloween and have possibly seen a couple ghosts myself... More often than not, the strangest things show up when you least expect them. If you're ever in Tucson, AZ I can point you to the Lost Souls ghost tours, which have some "haunted" locations around Tucson including (but not limited to) the Hotel Congress... that has quite the oddly shaped "normal-when-you-get-close" doorway that you can actually SEE for yourself on the tour.
I see many qualities that make me want to stick you into the Death Eater camp, so we could chat about scary things... but with Gryffindor and Minerva specifically listed as your house and Order member of choice... I have to say "To the Order of the Phoenix with you!"

I have some great stories about times when I think I've been in the presence of a ghost. I've never actually seen anything but I have heard and felt things. I love spooky things and the Lost Souls tours sounds like something I'd have to make a trip to Arizona to check out!
I definitely see Order of the Phoenix. Even those times where you spoke of Death Eater things hinted of the Order--especially the comments about Bellatrix ('She's very passionate about what she believes in and she defies anyone to tell her that she shouldn't be devoted to it'). I also see elements of the DE camp, but overall I think you'd be happier with the OotP.
