Welp, it's that time of the year, the one you look forward to all year! HOLIDAY PROMPTATHON TIME! YAY! Matron

The word brings to mind fireworks and sand between her toes. Quistis thinks of the sound of the ocean and stories told around the fire while she's perched in a safe, warm lap.

Edea

The name brings to mind something completely different in Quistis' mind. The feeling of loss and hurt. She sees the Sorceress seated high on her parade float, stoic yet menancing. The scent of blood and wounds so deep only Curaga could heal them.

Edea reminds Quistis of quiet nights spent alone, or so she thinks. Where there's a presence that bleeds forth from the darkness. Quistis knows it's a dangerous force but she trusts it because it's Edea -- her matron, once upon a time.

There's a sense of surprising calm when Edea appears, silent and eyes dark. Quistis can feel her healed battle wounds momentarily ache; can taste blood on her lips, but all she's smelling is ocean air. A simple caress against her cheek, both loving and terrifying, ignite fireworks behind Quistis' eyelids.

Matron

Memories of a frail woman, kind and arms opened wide.

O__O Whoa! Was not expecting this but oh my, yes. Shiva as a masochist and a dom? UNF. *melts*

And I love how it's all in Quistis' head, but not. Adds a level of mindfuck to it (which is always welcomed).

Well telepathy would come in handy for moments like this.

I interpreted the prompt as having Shiva able to be summoned for non-combat situations.

It tickled her nose. Tifa held in a sneeze. But as she licked deeper, she could taste pink sweetness. A melt-in-your-mouth sweetness. A twinge of tartness. As it melted, it covered her tongue, creating a wholly enjoyable taste sensation. The metallic taste of salivation enveloped her mouth, mixing with the tangy taste already there. She felt a tickle at her nose again, but resisted the urge to sneeze. A bit of the first taste dribbled down her chin onto her breast, which she ignored. She drew in a long breath through her nose. Her nose tickled once again, and this time, she couldn't help sneezing.
"You need to shave, Lightning."

"HURT..."

There's none of the volume in Fujin's tone when they're alone together, none of the perceived rage her fellow SEEDS label her odd language as.

Aqua smiles and hugs Fujin then, tighter than usual.

"Yeah...yeah I was hurt today."

"NAMES..."

How best to explain this, Aqua thinks.

She decides showing to be the best course of action and takes off her shirt, revealing the nail marks on her back.

Fujin is blushing, lowering her head and making for the door when Aqua stops her with another embrace.

"Don't go. I'm not upset. I did tell you to be rough, remember?"

She gets a small smile from her lover then and soon enough she's on her back, Fujin's eye boring into her.

"STILL ROUGH?"

Aqua nods and then moans as Fujin begins her assault.
