6 official quest translations
This is the continuation of my other quest translation post. It's slightly late, but I hope nobody minds.

Here's the list of character quests included in this post:
Cloud of Darkness (013), Sephiroth (013), Lightning, Gilgamesh (2 quests), Bartz (012)
Now I'm only going to copy-paste things. None of what's below was written by me!
Foreword
I'm not a Japanese Pro and English is my second language, as you can see from my poor choice of words, therefore
Warning: This translation is prone to have errors/mistranslations!
I did tried my best to check though, using various translators/dictionary/asking friends etc.
If you know Japanese and would like to help, or know somewhere has a better translation, or can help on translating the bits that I can't, or just feel there's something wrong, you are more than welcome to tell me through PM, VM, or post in the Discussion Thread.
(Kayarine's note: If you have any corrections or want to help translate the untranslated bits, feel free to post it in a comment on this entry and I'll relay the info to him and edit this version. I'll give full credit for the help, of course.)
This is in progress and I will eventually translate all of them. But don't expect fast update though, the first 10 took me a month to finish. XD

Cloud of Darkness caused Terra, who wields powerful magic, lose control in front of Onion Knight…

013 Power of Destruction
Another Episode
After Theater No. 098
When the Warriors of Cosmos began the journey on obtaining their Crystals…
There were large quantities of Manikins existing in this world,
although the number was slowly decreasing.
The girl that should be on his side, now became his enemy.
Kefka felt irritated.
On the other hand, the memory Cloud of Darkness had during the 12th Cycle,
was purified when she was revived in the 13th Cycle.
Kefka was the reason of her defeat, and hence purification.
Of course, she did not know that.
[Kefka]: As one would expect from the great Cloud of Darkness, the request is done.
Finally we have got Terra.
[CoD]: “Save the girl who was captured by the Goddess of Harmony”…?
Does the truth of that mean your wish of world destruction?
[CoD]: With the large amount of Manikins under our control,
why still you desire for more power?
[Kefka]: ehh large amount… you can say that for now.
It comes to an end if they are all used up for any reason.
[Kefka]: Then those guys will have the Crystals, Cosmos will die,
and the world will fall. They will still remain in the world though…
[Kefka]: The girl’s power, Crystals, fellow feeling,
any usable power will become important at that time.
[Kefka]: Because of the dependence on the Manikins,
everyone ignored those things that are usable.
[Kefka]: So let’s quickly unleash the girl’s destructive power,
control and use it well.
[CoD]: Chaos’ wish is to warp the world into chaos…
everything broken and fallen into darkness.
[CoD]: The remaining warriors will be struggling within this darkness.
…The Gods and their pawns are all foolish.
[Terra]: uurrrr…! Power….!
[CoD]: So you wake up now, along with your power…
[Terra]: The power…. I can’t suppress it…. Uuurrrrr!!
[CoD]: The mighty power of destruction is a thing of Chaos.
Can’t you use your power of harmony to control it? little girl.
[CoD]: Hahaha…. Anyway this is very interesting.
Use that power, I am testing it myself!

Battle: Vs Terra
============
[Terra]: … here is.
Crystals… do not… get.
[CoD]: Cosmos will die when you obtained the Crystal.
You are going towards destruction unknowingly.
[CoD]: humph, she used up her power and fainted.
She is too weak to be useful even for a slave.
[CoD]: A fragile existence but still facing the war.
Is that because she really wants to serve the Gods? Or…
[CoD]: … because fighting would fulfill the small wish of herself
心に留め置くべきこと そう喚こうというのか？
[CoD]: **Watching the outcome of the battles between the Gods, and the form of existence of these pawns, is probably very boring.**
[CoD]: Hoho, looks like he has come, the legendary Onion Knight.
He never learns…going to challenge me again?
[CoD]: How well can that child fight?
Can confirm that deliberately this time.
[CoD]: With a heart of coward, trying to save the girl from me.
Don’t know whether or not he can obtain the Crystal.
Her interest towards the pawns during the 12th Cycle
should have disappeared due to the purification.
However Cloud of Darkness remembered that feeling somewhere.
Smile appeared on her face when Onion Knight arrived.

Awaken after the purification in the 13th Cycle, Sephiroth is looking for Cloud.

013 Shape of the World
Another Episode
After Theater No. 081
At the beginning of the 13th Cycle,
Sephiroth woke up as a warrior of Chaos again.
Although his memory should have been lost due to the purification,
images of the previous war were left dimly in his mind.
Various sense of incongruity also arose in his chest along with his waking,
Sephiroth is on the way to retrace his memory.
[Kuja]: ... Have we met in this world?
You sure you are not talking to the wrong person? This is the first time I've been here.
[Sephiroth]: Ho~ is my memory different then?
I can know your face even though we have never met...
[Kuja]: Must be someone looks similar to me. Your words are making me sick.
You finished? Please excuse me.
[Sephiroth]: That's strange. Though hazy, I do have the memory of this world.
Is Cloud still fighting on Chaos side...
[Emperor]: Your memory should be cleansed by the purification,
but you are able to recall a little bit.
[Emperor]: Although this thing is not really useful...
I still thank you for letting me know this strange exception.
[Sephiroth]: If I'm not mistaken... You are the person who have the name of Emperor?
What happened, do you know?
[Emperor]: If you worry, fight an enemy.
Although how much of your memory would return is not known.
[Emperor]: Go fight Cloud, who is now on the enemy side, various memories will come back.
You guys came from the same world, right?
[Emperor]: Give him the Crystal while you fight too.
Cosmos will fall. That's for us warrior of Chaos to survive.
[Sephiroth]: Memory will return after fighting...
That's sure something I have heard. Ha, lets chase after the shadow of memory.

夢だけでなく居場所さえ失ったか ククク 奴らしい
[Tidus]: What are you laughing at!
Don't you forget you have 3 enemies here?
[Sephiroth]: Just 3 of you can't make me fear,
and it has no meaning to fight with those from a different world.
[Cecil]:If you mean you have no will to fight,
we won't force you..
[Sephiroth]: Timid. Leave now if you want.

[Firion]: Cecil! Tidus! Look out!
[Sephiroth]: Looks like an interesting thing is gettable from you,
I will be your opponent for a while.

Battle: Vs Firion

[Cecil]: Let's retreat while the enemy is flinching!
We are hurt, anymore is dangerous.
[Firion]: ... He was aiming for the flower!
Sephiroth! Don't touch that!
[Sephiroth]: This is the "dream" that you have shown to Cloud before.
It doesn't matter if I crushed it right now...
[Sephiroth]: This may become a reason for that guy to fight,
if he is still wavering in battles.
[Sephiroth]: I'll take this.
You better find a new dream.
[Tidus]: Firion!? Wait a sec!
You going after that guy!? You are hurt...
[Firion]: Cecil and Tidus, you guys wait here!
I... cannot let him take away the Wild Rose!
In order to fight Cloud, Sephiroth took the Wild Rose.
Pursuing his own memory, He is going after him.

Before Theater No. 024
During the 12th Cycle. Little by little, Lightning opened her heart to everyone, while taking action together.
After picking up the flower by the roadside,
whenever she was alone, she would take the flower out, and lost in thought.
[Lightning]: …Sorry. I’ll take a rest over there.
If enemy gets near, I’ll be back immediately.
[Lightning]: …a rose huh?
I can feel that it’s something familiar.
[Lightning]: Looking at this flower, seems like I can remember something.
But my memory is blocked, they won’t come out.
[Lightning]: The only thing I can remember is that I have forgotten various things.
[Lightning]: The “me” existing in this world, is it the real “me”?
Can I keep on fighting?
[Lightning]: … Yuna?
What’s up? Was there anything?
[Yuna]: Oh no. How should I say… just come to see you.
Since you are alone, I’m kinda worried.
[Lightning]: I see. Sorry for making you worry.
I have enough of rest now, let’s go back to everybody.
[Yuna]: Lightning…
Recently you often stay away from everyone.
[Yuna]: What happened…?
[Lightning]: Will I remember the things about this flower too,
if I go to fight as Cosmos said. …………!?
[Exdeath]: Pawns of Cosmos, you stepped into this place,
staring at the flower while immersed in sadness? That’s not well-matched, Miss Warrior.
[Lightning]: …I’m sorry (w/ sarcasm) that doesn’t suit me, but I’m still better than you
Humph, you gonna fight or not…
[Exdeath]: Encountering enemy, that leaves no choice but to fight.
Especially that achieves the mission given by the Gods too. ** Pawns are still alive**
[Lightning]: …Given by the Gods, “Mission”…
[Exdeath]: Why are you hesitating instead of readying yourself for the fight?
Do you seek to be erased instantly before seeing the coming up nightmare?
[Exdeath]: It is good though you can fight for Cosmos for a little before disappearing.
I’m giving you this opportunity. Let’s do it!
[Lightning]: Fight…… for the sake of the Gods….?
[Yuna]: Lightning! Watch out!
[Yuna]: Get a hold of yourself please!

Battle: Vs Exdeath

[Yuna]: Lightning.
Was there anything?
[Lightning]: I received some memory,
about the me in this world, and the me in my memory.
[Lightning]: Fate is to be determined at an unknown place,
and before I knew about the situation, I was already assigned with a Mission.
[Lightning]: I was thinking what were similar between my home world and this world.
However I now realize that it’s not the worlds alike, but the way I’m living.
[Lightning]: After picking up this flower, I started to think about various things…
“Should I fight for the Gods?”, something like that.
[Lightning]: As a warrior, I am not possible to fight well…
Honestly I can’t say we are Friends.
[Yuna]: …Lightning.
[Yuna]: If you have Friends, it’s okay even if you cannot fight alone,
because when they are with you, everyone will help in the battle.
[Yuna]: The number of Friends is the number of people you can rely on.
I think of Lightning as my Friends…
[Lightning]: Yuna…
[Lightning]: …Somehow it feels that we have much to talk.
However, I feel much comfortable now. Thanks.
[Yuna]: That’s good. It’s painful to hide your feelings,
because being concealed, you will surely become sad later.
[Lightning]: …I’m surely blessed with having Friends by my side.
Therefore when battle comes, I can fight.
[Yuna]: As a friend… *From now on, please look after me
Lightning.
* I dunno how to translate that. It’s the common say when the JPs first meet their colleagues, partners etc. “korekaramo yorosiku onegaisimasu”
[Lightning]: Ah, I’m counting on you too.

…Let’s go back now, Yuna.
Her own memory and her fate in this world combined,
caused Lightning had a moment of hesitation.
With her trust not towards the Goddess of Harmony,
but to her Friends, she is growing stronger.
That, and the path she would choose later,
were connected.

After his battle against Bartz, Gilgamesh, who once again wandering in the Interdimensional Rift, meets some one…

*The Japanese word here (豪傑) is different from the "Hero" for Sephiroth (英雄). However I dunno any other Eng word for that XD

After Theater No. 020
Wandering in the Rift, Gilgamesh had bumped into Bartz and finished their duel.
However he fell back into the Rift again during the battle,
forcing him to look for a new exit.
Wishing for a rematch,
Gilgamesh found an exit and swimed there.
[Gilgamesh]: Um! Wasn't that an exit!?
Yes~! Don't think that's over yet, Baaaaartz!!
[Gilgamesh]: ...this place looks similar to where I fought Bartz?
Can't see him though. Gotta look for him then.
[Gilgamesh]: Oh there's a guy! Hey you!
Perhaps I should say Bartz is my friend here, have you seen him?
[Exdeath]: Are you... Gilgamesh?
[Gilgamesh]: You know me? Who are you?
Doesn't look like my fans though.
[Gilgamesh]: But only those who know about that war hold an aura.
He is not a normal person...

all the intense battles we fought, waiting for unknown enemies,
[Gilgamesh]: lost in the castle, starving, cried together.

[Exdeath]: A fool you are. How could you forget your master's name.
[Gilgamesh]: Who would forget that... We served the same master.
You and me worked hard, Exdeath.

Before Theater No. 021
When the 12th Cycle have just begun,
the warriors were on their journey, before hearing the message of Cosmos.
Laguna joined Bartz and Jecht, who were looking for treasure chests.
The 3 then continued on their trip.
They aimed for treasure chests, taking detour when necessary.
However, the distance they traveled were not lessened at all.
[Jecht]: Yuna, 無事にやってっといいんだけどな
Sheesh, no one is going with you.
[Bartz]: If it’s Yuna, she will be Okay. Just like Jecht.
Even not here, she can get along with anybody.
[Jecht]: What do you mean by just like me? Ahh?
Oi Laguna, where are you going?
[Laguna]: How come we haven’t arrived there yet?
That’s impossible Bartz, you have the map.
[Bartz]: This is the first time I see the map since a while.
So, we are not getting any closer?
[Jecht]: Oi oi, you guys not checking the map until just now?
I’m already tired. You can go without me.
[Bartz]: Ah, you lay down already. Anyway, I’m a little tired as well.
Just right, I’ll take a rest here too, Laguna.
[Laguna]: If it’s too much, good bye then. I can understand.

A little interesting note, Bartz is fixed with the following customization:
Ground BRV: Blade Crash, Solid Ascension, Reel Impulse
Air BRV: Rush Impact
Ground HP: Hellfire, Dark Flame
Air HP: Luminous Shard
(Summon: Magic Pot)
The skills that he is not equipping are those with parts from Terra, Cloud,
Tidus, and Laguna.
And Laguna (the CPU opponent) has Ragnarok Blade as his only HP attack.
He has various Brv attacks though.

***That’s the same line he said to Faris before he died in FFV, the whole sentence is something like:
“And you, Faris! You must fall in love, or something, and try acting a little like a woman, if you still know how!”
[Gilgamesh]: Arrrrrrrr~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~!
[Prishe]: Disappeared……?
[Shantotto]: Wait, the Rift?
That thing suddenly appeared and sucked people in?
[Prishe]: Ya, and that guy disappeared like that.
Never seen him afterwards?
[WoL]: Ah
[Shantotto]: The Rift…?
What’s its role? gotta keep that in mind.
Appeared just for a brief moment in front of Prishe
Gilgamesh once again disappeared towards The Rift.
When will be the next time for him to be seen?
This is a thing that both the Gods Chaos and Cosmos,
or even Gilgamesh himself would not know.

This is in progress and I will eventually translate all of them. But don't expect fast update though, the first 10 took me a month to finish. XD
Here are some notes:
- The Quests are numbered chronologically base on their releasing date, not the time within the story.
- Texts wrapped with ** ** are those I'm not too sure, eg. I could only understand half and guessed the other half.
- Texts left as Japanese are those I have absolutely no idea, or I can understand the words but cannot put them together so they make sense with the dialogue before/after.
- The word 仲間 means comrades, partners, team members, companies.. etc. Here I translated it as "Friends", as the Cosmos guys always refer each other as friends.
- I'm using "she" for Cloud of Darkness, instead of "they" or "it".

When the Warriors of Cosmos began the journey on obtaining their Crystals…
There were large quantities of Manikins existing in this world,
although the number was slowly decreasing.
The girl that should be on his side, now became his enemy.
Kefka felt irritated.
On the other hand, the memory Cloud of Darkness had during the 12th Cycle,
was purified when she was revived in the 13th Cycle.
Kefka was the reason of her defeat, and hence purification.
Of course, she did not know that.
[Kefka]: As one would expect from the great Cloud of Darkness, the request is done.
Finally we have got Terra.
[CoD]: “Save the girl who was captured by the Goddess of Harmony”…?
Does the truth of that mean your wish of world destruction?
[CoD]: With the large amount of Manikins under our control,
why still you desire for more power?
[Kefka]: ehh large amount… you can say that for now.
It comes to an end if they are all used up for any reason.
[Kefka]: Then those guys will have the Crystals, Cosmos will die,
and the world will fall. They will still remain in the world though…
[Kefka]: The girl’s power, Crystals, fellow feeling,
any usable power will become important at that time.
[Kefka]: Because of the dependence on the Manikins,
everyone ignored those things that are usable.
[Kefka]: So let’s quickly unleash the girl’s destructive power,
control and use it well.
[CoD]: Chaos’ wish is to warp the world into chaos…
everything broken and fallen into darkness.
[CoD]: The remaining warriors will be struggling within this darkness.
…The Gods and their pawns are all foolish.
[Terra]: uurrrr…! Power….!
[CoD]: So you wake up now, along with your power…
[Terra]: The power…. I can’t suppress it…. Uuurrrrr!!
[CoD]: The mighty power of destruction is a thing of Chaos.
Can’t you use your power of harmony to control it? little girl.

At the beginning of the 13th Cycle,
Sephiroth woke up as a warrior of Chaos again.
Although his memory should have been lost due to the purification,
images of the previous war were left dimly in his mind.
Various sense of incongruity also arose in his chest along with his waking,
Sephiroth is on the way to retrace his memory.
[Kuja]: ... Have we met in this world?
You sure you are not talking to the wrong person? This is the first time I've been here.
[Sephiroth]: Ho~ is my memory different then?
I can know your face even though we have never met...
[Kuja]: Must be someone looks similar to me. Your words are making me sick.

but you are able to recall a little bit.

What happened, do you know?
[Emperor]: If you worry, fight an enemy.
Although how much of your memory would return is not known.

After picking up the flower by the roadside,
whenever she was alone, she would take the flower out, and lost in thought.
[Lightning]: …Sorry. I’ll take a rest over there.
If enemy gets near, I’ll be back immediately.
[Lightning]: …a rose huh?
I can feel that it’s something familiar.
[Lightning]: Looking at this flower, seems like I can remember something.
But my memory is blocked, they won’t come out.
[Lightning]: The only thing I can remember is that I have forgotten various things.
[Lightning]: The “me” existing in this world, is it the real “me”?
Can I keep on fighting?
[Lightning]: … Yuna?
What’s up? Was there anything?

Wandering in the Rift, Gilgamesh had bumped into Bartz and finished their duel.
However he fell back into the Rift again during the battle,
forcing him to look for a new exit.
Wishing for a rematch,
Gilgamesh found an exit and swimed there.
[Gilgamesh]: Um! Wasn't that an exit!?
Yes~! Don't think that's over yet, Baaaaartz!!
[Gilgamesh]: ...this place looks similar to where I fought Bartz?
Can't see him though. Gotta look for him then.
[Gilgamesh]: Oh there's a guy! Hey you!
Perhaps I should say Bartz is my friend here, have you seen him?

When the 12th Cycle have just begun,
the warriors were on their journey, before hearing the message of Cosmos.
Laguna joined Bartz and Jecht, who were looking for treasure chests.
The 3 then continued on their trip.
They aimed for treasure chests, taking detour when necessary.
However, the distance they traveled were not lessened at all.
[Jecht]: Yuna, 無事にやってっといいんだけどな
Sheesh, no one is going with you.
[Bartz]: If it’s Yuna, she will be Okay. Just like Jecht.
Even not here, she can get along with anybody.
[Jecht]: What do you mean by just like me? Ahh?
Oi Laguna, where are you going?
[Laguna]: How come we haven’t arrived there yet?
That’s impossible Bartz, you have the map.
[Bartz]: This is the first time I see the map since a while.
So, we are not getting any closer?
[Jecht]: Oi oi, you guys not checking the map until just now?

A little interesting note, Bartz is fixed with the following customization:
Ground BRV: Blade Crash, Solid Ascension, Reel Impulse
Air BRV: Rush Impact
Ground HP: Hellfire, Dark Flame
Air HP: Luminous Shard
(Summon: Magic Pot)
The skills that he is not equipping are those with parts from Terra, Cloud,
Tidus, and Laguna.
And Laguna (the CPU opponent) has Ragnarok Blade as his only HP attack.
He has various Brv attacks though.

[Shantotto]: Wait, the Rift?
That thing suddenly appeared and sucked people in?
[Prishe]: Ya, and that guy disappeared like that.
Never seen him afterwards?
[WoL]: Ah

What’s its role? gotta keep that in mind.
Appeared just for a brief moment in front of Prishe
Gilgamesh once again disappeared towards The Rift.
When will be the next time for him to be seen?
This is a thing that both the Gods Chaos and Cosmos,
or even Gilgamesh himself would not know.
