Yunalesca watched the fight from some distance off, where she'd been waiting, expecting Vegnagun to come further.

"..."

Frankly, she didn't know how to feel. Knowing of Vegnagun's power, she knew that, by all rights, such a group of heroes had absolutely no possibility of defeating the mechanical beast.

... But then... she'd thought the same thing about Sin, hadn't she?

Slowly, she began walking towards Vegnagun. She'd at least take a closer look at just how the heroes were faring.

Kid popped in front of the Fayth and peered at the face that was so eerily similar to that of her Chosen's.

"You're gonna help, right?" She asked, quirking an eyebrow.

"... I'm... not sure. I'd intended to fight Vegnagun, with every expectation of dying in doing so," Yunalesca murmured. "... Strange... fighting with the intention of actually winning the day, against this monster... it seems harder, somehow..."

Lulu was down. And there was no way of getting to her without leaving the Vegnagun. But she didnt want to have a man down now. They where already outnumbered.

Quickly she bounced off the vegnagun towards Lulu, blocking as many incoming attacks as much as she could.

Seeing Shiva was no longer a threat, and seeing one of the enemies moving off the machine to help another downed enemy, Freya turned the to this enemy instead and used the Dragon Crest spell she had readied, moving her weopon in front of her expecting a counter spell shortly afterwards but ready to dive into a second physical attack given the opportunity.

Aeris stumbled, grazing her knees on the ground. Almost automatically she stood up.

"GO...AWAY!" She screamed holding her arms out and just as she did with Tidus pushed the rat with a unseen force.

She continued to run to Lulus side.
"Lu! Goddamit!"
she helped the black mage stand, keeping an arm free to cast spells if needed. Quickly she launched herself off the ground and leviated towards the machine. She however had never leviated with someone else before, which put a strain on her.

Lulu had stumbled away from Yuffie's grasp and was surprised when she failed to feel the ground beneath her feet anymore. She was still poisoned and blinded, and hence, extremely confused. Though, she had heard Aeris' voice, and assumed that she was with Aeris, it was still very disorienting for her.

Upon feeling the metal of the large Machina under her feet again, Lulu sank to her knees. The poison was weakening her considerably.

Looking back up at Vegnagun, Cloud set down Aeris and didn't wait for Freya to follow with Lulu before he jumped back towards the Machina, rushing steadily towards Kimhari and Yuna.

Yuna saw Cloud rushing her way. She pressed a key on the keyboard and a cannon protruded from the machina. Yuna walked to the edge. "You'd do well to stay where you are. The machina reacts towards hostility, and I assure you, you do NOT want this cannon going off." She smirked. "After all, I'm sure that you heard what happened to Bevelle." She emptied the materia and bullets from her pistols, kicking them all over the edge. They were useless. She raised her staff and began to summon.

Cloud looked at Yuna, eyeing her suspiciously. It looked like he wasn't going to get shot again, not that this bothered him. However, he was worried at her summoning.

At the sight of the cannon, he froze. He was still out of range for, well, just about anything, and simply stood on the arm of the machina for a few moments, waiting for her to finish the summon.

A mistake, though that might be.

Freya followed Cloud's lead with Lulu, placing her off to the side, though not too near Aeris just in case one of them woke up and decided to help the other, then turned back to see Cloud charging in again. She was still a bit weak from the summon hitting her, but her regen was slowly making her stronger again, so she followed Cloud's lead back into the fray. She took a run and another jump, attempting to place herself on top of the machine where her comrad was still fighting with the most persistant of the trio while avoiding the aim of the gun. She saw Yuna summoning, and frustratedly realized she wouldn't land in time to knock her out of it.

Yuna groaned as she felt someone take her hand in their own. Everything was hazy and her head was throbbing. Actually...her whole body was throbbing.

"...Ti...dus..."

Brigit frowned briefly, pushing back some of the girl's hair and let out a sigh. "I think she is alright..." She glanced up at the fallen machina. "Vegnagun is no longer reacting to her, in any case...and she is too weak to summon. Even if she is not herself, she is no danger..."

Kimhari nodded, looking to Brigit for a moment then back down to Yuna. Frowning as the first words to come from her was Tidus' name, of course, he hadn't seen Tidus in such a long while, and he had begun to wonder where the young Blitzer was and why he wasn't here now.

He very gently brushed a hand over her forehead, much like he had done when she was a child and she had been having nightmares. Murmuring soft reassuring words, he didn't know if he should move her just yet.

Yuna let out a pained gasp, tightening her grip on Kimahri's hand. "...hurts..." she whimpered, her eyes opened slightly. Brigit held Yuna tighter.

Yuna's vision was blurred, but it didn't take much guesswork to figure out who the blur of blue was. "...Kimahri..." she said hoarsely, forcing a weak, pained smile.

Kimhari squeezed her hand back and shushed her gently," Yes it is me, Yuna." He looked to Brigit before glancing back to Yuna, he noticed the smile and all he could continue to do was run his hand across her forehead, assuring her everything would be okay with time.

Kid looked up as she saw Cloud approaching. She had just finished healing Lulu and Aeris, but not before she cast Sleep on both. (And removed Lulu's bangle from her wrist.) She handed the bangle and the materia bracelet to Cloud.

"I don't know about Aeris." Kid replied hesitantly. "I can't say anything for Lu 'cause she wasn't affected like Aeris was." She glanced up to Cloud, standing after Lu was brought back to health.

Lulu coughed quietly and settled back into slumber. Her breathing evened slowly. Kid glanced from Cloud to Lulu. "Pick her up and take her to the airship."

Cloud glanced down at Lulu before he picked her up. "What about Aeris?"

"I'll worry about Aeris." Kid muttered. "She's not your responsibility anymore."

And 'okay' was barely heard as Cloud started to carry Lulu back to the airship.
