So on Monday I caved (to what? Consumerism, capitalism, the American Way) and bought a TV and a DVD player/VCR. The latter is essential for playing two things. 1) The bonus features on my National Treasure DVD and 2) My favorite movie, X-Files: Fight the Future. And with that one sentence I have eradicated any shred of coolness that I have managed

What kind of TV is it? I LOVE the X-Files Movie. I will so be watching it with you in the fall. BTW, I hope you read my comment about my birthday. You had better be able to come.

It's a... TV, I don't know. 13", I think. It's cute.
What comment about your birthday? I have heard nothing as of yet, but I am very excited about whatever it may be.

I want to go to Screen on the Green to see Grease as part of my birthday festivities. I may also want to go to the Grossology Exhibit at Fernbank and/or go see War of the Worlds. I haven't decided that part yet, but I am sure I want to go to Screen on the Green. Besides, my Mom said she would make a picinc dinner for us to take and she is a very good cook.
