Having already established a journal on blogspot, I'm really just here to be able to stop in and comment on things at communities I have been lurking on for months now.  This is a most interesting site but I'm old and set in my ways and having spent months on blogger I'm sort of comfortable there

A CI fan AND an REM fan? Nice. :-) My mother went to high school with a couple of those boys. ;) Mike Mills I know for sure because he's in her yearbook.

Hi! Nice to meet you. Most cool that your mom went to school with Mike Mills! That means Bill Berry probably went there too. Maybe from another year? I know they were friends in high school but maybe they didn't go to the same school.

Ah well, in any case they are definitely my favorite band. New episodes of LOCI and R.E.M. concerts are really putting me in obsession heaven. ;)

Yeah, :-). I can't remember if I ever saw Bill Berry in the yearbook or not. I can check and see, maybe scan a pic or two. I know Mike Mills went to Northeast High School here in Macon. I really like REM (and the B-52s, too, although they're more of a guilty pleasure). My favorite band is probably Pink Floyd, but then again, I have a lot of favs.

I enjoy reading your blog and your discussions on the CI boards. Great insights.

Pink Floyd is another favorite of mine as well. Their album Dark Side of the Moon is, IMO, the closest thing to a perfect album in the rock world.

Are you a member of and of the CI boards? The only one I post at currently is Major Case because it's too hard to keep up with more than one and after a while I find I get repetitive and I don't remember what I said where! LOL

back two years ago...I started that majorcaseromance forum with proboards. We all started a round robin sorta thing and well, it just kind of stopped. I'm attempting to revive it at ci_fans_unite at this post. I wanted to let you know because I added your name to the parts that you did.
