Farming...

I'm in need of Gil like most everybody else. I have no problem farming it, just wondering what the best place to farm is? Any suggestions?

Crawlers, anyplace they drop silk for you, on cerb they sell for over 20k a stack ;)

this is tedious, but lvl bst to at least 40, its good for bcnm and we all know bcnm is good gil

If it isn't too overcamped on your server, go for Archer's Knives from the Orc in Davoi. He always drops one, unless you get unlucky and get an assassins bow about 1/5 times. Knives are about 60k on Fairy and he pops every hour.

Also there are Archer's Rings, which are now easier to get, and drop from Stroper Chyme (30-34) in Oredelle's.

Otherwise, pick something to farm, and go for it. I used to do Beehive chips right outside of Bastok on the hill that Stinging Sophie pops, which was good money... All totalled (Honey, Wild Onions, Bee Hive chips, the occasional Bee Stinger) I got about 20-30k an hour with TH1.

Unfortunately, Archer's knives are overcamped by Gil Sellers in Midgardsormr, so that doesnt work for me. I made a little cash farming Dangruf Wadi, not a bad place to go...

I always found Beaucedine Glacier/Xarcabard a trusty place to farm (if you're level 60+). Tiger fangs are over 8k a stack if you trade them to a NPC in Southern San d'Oria, and it raises your Sandy fame to boot. Beaucedine and Xarca are almost always in Ice weather and the clusters usually sell for 1k. Dark weather is also pretty frequent and those sell for around 5k.

Also, there is the Dark Dragon that spawns once in a while in Xarcabard. If you are a mage job (or can sub) and can cast Blink and Stoneskin, you should be able to defeat him without many problems. The worst part about the Dark Dragon is that he has a very nasty Paralyze attack that can end up killing you (it killed my 63 RDM and I was buffed to the max). He drops around 2000 gil (if you're solo).

The least I've made farming here is 10k and the most was 80k (in one sitting), so the income is pretty good. :3
