3rd Peson Sample for Willow

Sunshine. Yeah. She felt like she was walking on sunshine. Kinda like that old song she heard on the radio once. A happy song too, which is exactly how Willow felt. She hadn't been feeling really happy since Oz had left, but she'd slowly gotten over it. Going to college had helped like a total lot there.

Doing new things, new people, new life. New start kinda like. That first year had kinda flown over, what with the studying and the helping out Buffy on the side. Or maybe she was studying on the side, Willow was never really sure about that. Considering she'd gotten deeper and deeper into the magic instead of computers to help out Buffy, she was probably doing the normal studying on the side.

So yeah, she'd slowly gotten over Oz and started to look around. Sorta like window shopping, cause Willow never really felt secure enough to really approach anyone. She didn't know how, and with the world she lived in it was kinda difficult. She didn't think 'Yeah one of my best friends is a Slayer and isn't that a nifty demon there!' would go over well.

What she did do was find a wicca group on campus. That was all sorts of cool, to find people who were into magic like her. Only, it didn't really satisfy her. They were kinda into really silly spells and things. Willow had been thinking of ditching the group when she had entered. The reason she was now walking on Sunshine. Tara was her name, Willow had found out via via.

Tara. Such a pretty name. And once Willow got over the fact that, yeah, she was kinda liking a girl? She started to wonder how she could closer to Tara. Flirting wasn't something she was good at. Like not at all. She had offered to carry the blonde's books occasionally when the redhead had a hand free. Which had felt kinda stupid and made her all nervous like. So that wasn't working.

What else? What else? She really, really, *really* liked Tara. So if she was ever gonna get close to this ray of sunshine (and not be re-buked, which wasn't gonna happen cause she was a girl, Willow had been told) she was gonna have to suck it up and..... do something.

Which was how she found herself in front of Tara's class, feeling all sorts of stalkish and nervous and wanting to run away. She'd even gone so far as to practice what to say in front of the mirror. But when Tara finally appeared, seemingly floating out of the room but that was probably just her imagination, Willow found she had lost the ability to speak. Her mouth opened and closed several times and if she wasn't gonna move soon, Tara would be gone.

"Uh, h-hi," she muttered, giving a small wave with her hand. "I'm in err.. several classes with you and uhm. I was- I was kinda wondering... If you would...erm... like to-liketohavecoffeewithme?" There. That wasn't so bad. Oh gosh! What if she said no?!
