Looks like I gots ta have my thesis research done in time to present it at the summer conferences. I'll find out tomorrow which one it will be at, but it will probably be sometime in August. Goodbye to the 40 hour works weeks, hello again to the 60.

oh, man, I've been there. Trying to get research ready for a conference... only last time I had to do that, I was also pretty messed up emotionally because I'd just been dumped, and found out that my Grams had cancer. And I had no interest at all in the research.

At least it's actually your thesis research you're working on... so maybe life will suck here for a while, but you'll have made big progress on stuff!

either way, good luck! I was never fond of your 80 hour work weeks. :)
