Winter is coming
When the snow marches down to the valley floor, I think that will be the official start of winter.
While I'm at it, I might as well unload some other pics off of the camera. Here's where I went orienteering last week. It's probably all snowy now:
A couple months ago when I visited here we went to Chamonix. Here's a picture looking down on the town from above. My adviser said that the valley is the third deepest in the world (from the top of Mount Blanc down to the level of the town).
We also had a mountain goat that hung out with us for a while.
