Well. He had his knife, at least. Which meant that when one of the goblins honed in on him, at least he wasn't completely a lost cause.

As it stood, however, he was going to duck, because there was a very nasty looking... fetus-thing, clinging to a stick and trying to bite the rest of his face off. Jono was actually rather fond of the half of a face that he still had. Ducking really did seem to be a good option, right about now.
Bringing up a fist to punch the goblin in the gut also seemed like a good idea.
... No, he didn't use the hand with the knife in it. He wasn't desperate enough to want to stab anybody yet. Annoying though they might be.
