"Here we go again." Percy sighed, and uncapped Riptide. The celestial bronze sword sprang to full size instantly.

The school administrators would probably see this as his fault somehow.

Oooh, a hero! Heroes were almost as good as princesses. The Kraken did his best "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR" and moved toward Percy.

The Kraken had a plan, too. It was called "Eat the Hero." Princesses were much much tastier, but eating Heroes was the only way to make them stop trying to stab him with sharp pointy things. The Kraken was not a pincushion, darn it!
