Wednesday Night: Shopping

After watching Anakin play poker and show up the older and presumably more experienced players around him, Duce decided to head out into the tacky, neon glare of the strip. The street was crowded with holiday revelers, but strangely, even in the crush of people, she was able to walk along without any difficulty. Almost as if people pushed into the crowd to get out of her way

Friday Afternoon

Anakin had finally rolled himself out of bed. After a night of pie eating and killing at the roulette wheel, he had some money and energy to burn.

And some souvenirs to buy. He'd promised gifts to Rory and Logan and wanted to get something for Padme as well. And it was a longstanding tradition between him and Obi-Wan to send something as tacky as possible to each other when they were visiting a world by themselvs.

Looking at the blinking lights of the Strip, Anakin had a feeling that finding something tacky wouldn't be much of a problem.

After wandering somewhat aimlessly for a while, he finally settled on a scary Vegas snowglobe for Rory and a collection of increasingly obscene shot glasses for Logan. He still needed something for Padme and Obi-Wan, though. Padme would like jewelry, he decided.

And Obi-Wan...Anakin looked down the street. Obi-Wan needed someone covered in glitter. He wondered if that could be arranged.
