Kaidan was antsy. He was, for the most part, not showing it... but he was doing a regular headcount of all the kids, and wondering if he shouldn't have gone for another round on why eating dextro food was bad.

She fidgeted with her bag. In a few minutes, she'd be astounded by the presence of a human C-Sec officer - this quickly into humanity's discovery (it hadn't even been fifty years!). But right now, she was mostly... just soaking in being, not back home, but somewhere familiar.

In the meantime, with the hyperactive way he was darting around the Zakera Ward, it was only a matter of time until he wound up colliding with a krogan or something, and that would be very bad.

Jono was going to just keep telling himself that. He already had Joni, and the frogs that lived in the tank in the Boards lobby to look after. A fish would be pushing it.
But he'd stand around and watch them for a while. That much, he was completely allowing himself to do. It beat letting himself get too overwhelmed by the view outside, and he wasn't the sort to do much staring at people who looked different than he was used to. Obviously.
