"It looks like dinner's come to us tonight," she said, after she'd gathered everyone up. She noticed that their numbers had shrunk yet again, but nothing in her expression gave any sign that this concerned her. "We've lost a great deal of our kin in the last few days, and the people outside are the ones who have taken them from us. Clearly, they need to be reminded who is in charge here. Kill them all, every last one of them. Make them pay and tonight, they will learn never to try this again."
