It's the dumbest thing ever that they're going through the effort of putting James Caan on Hawaii Five-0, but he's not playing Danno's (Scott Caan's) father! Such a waste of awesome, CBS!

Ahaha, I thought the exact same thing. I just assumed he'd be Danno's dad and though 'ha, brilliant!' But no. Whyyyyyy, etc.

My parents were sooooo convinced he was gunna play papa Williams (they saw the 'Next Week' preview, I didn't), and had me convinced too. Then I saw the commercial last night and I was all, "OMG how did you get that so wrong?!"

It's like they lack all comprehension skills sometimes, which is why I refuse to watch movies with them anymore, because I don't wanna have to act it all out for them when it's over. Like, with hand puppets.
