If there were still some innocent souls untainted by attainment of one Montague Morsus character, they were bound to be impressed by his appearance on the stage. Ciarán sat in the back, of course, where the shadows were the nicest and the velvet of the chairs the least disturbed. A cloud of smoke swirled around Montague for a while, as he concealed himself from the sight of Perry and Pansy engaging in what appeared to be an act of "public display of affection". He, rather unexpectedly, truly did not want to offend his friend by the contemptuous grin that refused to slip away from his lips. Of the two of them, Perry clearly was the enslaved one, even despite his relative freedom at the moment. What a waste ( ... )
