Damn you DC!

Sooo..... I'm mad at DC becuase I have to reget a learners permit (read: take the knowledge test) and then retake the driving test to get my license so i can get my car.   I figured they may make me take one or the other, but to have to take TWO mornings off work to get my permit, and then go schedule a test when ive had a license since i was 16 is

If you have a valid license all you need is your SS card, birth certificate, proof of residency and old license to convert to a DC one

Haha not if my old one expired! I am days over the line between not having to do anything and having to take both tests. It just doesnt make sense for me to take all the tests again when I've been driving for a lot more than I've been not driving. And it is annoying that I cant get everything done on the same day.
