I'm still Jet-Lagged. 14 hours on a plane is too long. I'm a very laid back mellow guy, but around the 9th hour... I was climbing the walls. Athens was interesting. A tad on the fucking filthy side for me. Also, it's very crowded. No room for "personal space" at all. That had me a little on edge, until about the 5th 80 year old Greek woman checked

Wow! Nice photos! Thank you so much for sharing. I had intended to go on the trip to Athens in my senior year of high school, but all the trips (a choir trip to Japan, the Western Civ. trip to Athens, and I forgot what the other one I had in mind was) happened at the same time and I ended up at inline speed skating nationals at that time instead. :(

I don't want to say that you didn't miss anything, because traveling to another country is an adventure unto itself. However, aside from the Acropolis and a small shopping district called the Plaka, Athens doesn't have much to offer (^_^. If you get to travel Europe, you can do Athens in a day or 2 at the most.

Wow the body checking must be a European thing because David and had the same problem in London too on our honeymoon. No "excuse me, pardon me, or oh sorry". So like you said once we started body checking right back everything was fine! Greece is definitely one of the places we want to go along with a few other European countries. Thanks for the pics the beautiful. I'll be posting our London pics here in a few minutes.
