The "Resource Manager" assigned to me by my agency quit and a new girl has taken over. This new girl contacts me today, just to check-in. She tells me that she has been talking to my manager, who she is calling by the wrong name, and that they were discussing my end date, which she had off by 2 1/2 weeks. Does that throw away your FT opportunity? That would be FUCKED.

Is the game shipping this soon? I hope you get a chance still at FT man.

I got alpha due Tuesday, things are coming along but I personally still feel that I have more shit to do.

I don't know what's going on. I will have a talk with my manager next week and try to get some ideas.

The FT thing wont be coming round 'til we know how the game does, so that's a ways off eitherway.

*shrugs*

Just sucks, because, we were counting on that last check of mine :P

Wow, you still get one on ones. Impressive. I stopped getting those about 3 months before my contract expired. Right after the one that I didn't have for 3 months, when I told him that he was no good at motivating me or giving me any kind of positive feedback on my work.

Do I complain too much? In your journal?

I wouldn't worry too much about having your contract cut short. The boss man needs all the time he can get from you and will see to that he gets it. Just bring it up and he will rain fire and brimstone down on your agency.

Heh, I haven't actually had a 1 on 1 in several months now either. I was scheduled for the 1 on 1 that I mentioned in my post, but that never happened. Odd? :P

Anyway, I brought it to his attention. It wasn't my agencies fault. Someone here entered the dat incorrectly (^_^. So, problem solved. I know have my 2 + 1/2 weeks back.

He's not real keen on wasting time with contractor evaluations. I guess he figures that we won't remember that when we take full-time positions.

To note: Outside of work, he's a great guy.

See you online.
