thanks lynn. yeah, i think gobs is a *great* idea for this stuff. it won't really draft; you just yank on it and stretch it. and it's like velcro; it sticksSTICKSsticks to everything, especially itself.

the worst fog i've seen is in the central valley; they get that ground fog that causes I5 pileups. super dangeroso.

I LOVE spinning with spiderwebs stuff! its so soft & fluffy!

I wish I had been able to snatch up bags of it right after Halloween, but they took it out fo the stores super quick....next year though..oh yes, I will be loading up!

wow, that's funny tattooed, because i didn't really enjoy 'spinning' it. it wouldn't really draft, i just kept yanking it longer (heh heh, she said 'yanking it longer' hehheh). plus it's got that squeeky acrylic thing going on times 1,000. but to ea. her own, eh? thanks for checking it out.

yanking it longer tattooedartgirl November 17 2006, 19:18:45 UTC
hee hee! I love the yank and it stretches out about 18 times the original lenght!!! I didn't like that it caught on EVERYTHINg while spinning, including all the bits from my fiber covered carpet. Also the acrylicy thing didn't bother me like spinning acrylic fiber-that gives me the heebiejeebies!!!

loved your knit boob on your blog too! I've been meaning to comment but am worrking on my trunk show stuff and I haven' spun ANYTHING for a week so I'm jonesing LOL

it looks really pretty, though. maybe you could knit or crochet something that would be decorative?
