'hive mind', i love that! thanks, pippi. i wondered if you were thinking gizmos=gadgets, but we were in synch. i had the perfect fiber on hand; just wish i knew what it was, as it was a dream to spin.

hey, that's pretty good! you are catching on with the spinning, eh? looks really pro! wanna hear something funny? my hair is (or was? who knows anymore) that color as a kid, my older brother described it as chewbacca brown and told me that i was half wookie, which was very upsetting to me.

thanks, n! yeah, i think i'm figuring it out. i've sold a couple of skeins, too, which is gratifying.

your bro sounds like all brothers i've ever heard of: took at his job to be a pill. but i bet he was there for you when you need him...

actually, neither of my brothers are close with me at all, we are really different and just don't relate, although my brother's 4 year old, maddie is one of my fave peeps in the world, although i only get to see her a couple of times a year. the cutest girl in the world!

my hair is kind of gremliny wiht the two tones? i think it is more gray than reddish under there now!
