Any one have experiance felting buffalo fuzz.. I tried some last night. Ive had better luck with sheep fuzz. I know Stetson does make cowboy hats from felted buffalo.  Its just didnt seemt o felt well for me. Fibers to short? Fibers to soft?  I don't know....

At TNNA, the buffalo booth had a sign out saying that it doesn't felt or stretch.

Odd, ive found a few web sites that mention felted buffalo even a contest February 2006 for buffalo projects. Nothing talks about the actual process though.

Maybe it is captured in another fiber that does felt.
