adrift in a rural place

I'm still trying to get connected with people in this new town which is pretty hard as I'm not working in an office and I've got two kids weighing me down. Also we've been trying to get settled in our new house and had to travel some-- next week we'll be going to my inlaws for two weeks while Chris is travelling for work

we both live in small, conservative towns and have few friends and two kids weighing us down... god do I wish it were the same small town. but the peace forum sounds promising, and I hope you meet some cool mamas soon. xoxoxo

The town we live in now is bigger than the old "small conservative town" but it's still hard to find people.
