WTF?!

What the fuck is Amazon's deal?! I placed an order with them last Friday, not expecting to get my items dispatched until yesterday. I got the usual email from them saying that they had received my order, and having not received an email yet telling me that they had dispatched my items I just checked to see their progress...this is what it said

I had same thing happen when I ordered two items in December, and it said the delivery estimate was the end of January. Both items were seemingly in stock - when I went to cancel my order, it said 'delivery pending' too late to cancel (or something like that) - I emailed them to complain (was early January) - never got a reply, but the items were sent next day .... great choice of CDs btw :)

Ugh, I hate Amazon sometimes. I recently had to cancel an order with them as they changed the dispatch date from the day after I placed the order unil 3 weeks away.

Arg! That sucks. I could understand if it was particularly rare stuff, like once i ordered a photography book and it took ages to get in and things, but that's ridiculous...
