Well sadly on further conversation from a couple of my friends (one of whom has commented about it here) it doesnt look too likely for Gaiman to be involved in the Silent Hill 2 film =( But none the less it has been stated there will be another film which isnt too bad to hear about at all in my opinion!

As for Onimusha, have to agree with your enthusiasm about that one right there lol! ^_^

The onimusha thing may be correct, but Gaiman had no idea about the silent hill thing when asked.. and sounds like its not happening.

Besides Gaiman may be a literary and comic book god, but when it comes to films he really sucks. MirrorMask was deeply flawed.

Also Christopher Gans is known for getting over excited and saying things that are yet to be confirmed, ie - he may want gaiman to join him on the project, but hasn't asked him.

On reading the article the first thing that made me squeal with joy was the news firstly of a Silent Hill 2 being made (although I was rather concerned that it would be entirely lame) and then going on to see that Gaiman was going to be involved.

Have also heard from your brother that he doubts the Gaiman involvement to be true...which is most sad for me =( I however did really enjoy Mirrormask though, wouldnt class it as one of my favourite films of all time but still none the less enjoyed it.

Lets just hope Omnimusha comes into fruition.

Yeah i just prey to god that when they do onimusha they get the actual japanese actor that they used for Samunoske in the game (they used a real famous actor) Takeshi Kaneshiroand he has to walk around all po-faced while other OTT eccentric characters manically laugh every 5 minutes ( ... )
