Finally finished Case 2. This one was quite difficult ^^; If you know there's a mistake, please do tell me
From 「世界を撃った男 Case2」
Words: TRICKMASTER
Music: chemical pictures
Kanji:
Memento Mori
Translation:
Memento Mori
Opposing religions
Disagreeing histories and ideas
It’s too messy
When I was a child, I was taught
Justice is irresponsible
Right now, what do we live to believe?
Artists
Strive to tell the truth
Politicians
Strive to hide the truth
Creating lies, ah, my
Head is definitely sick
For imagining this
Into the darkness
I want to be dragged
More and more
I’m getting obsessed
With the thought of death, memento mori
Even if on this world people shed blood, thinking beautifully is
The way we are, because, after all, we are human
Into God, or something like that
We cannot become1
As long as there are dirty powerful people
Terrorists and wars also do not cease to exist
From the beginning, there are good and evil, these are only words that humans often create2
This blue planet, whose property is it?
Along with you
I was born and raised here
An uncertain world
Is unthinkable
But
Just living
Is probably happiness
Even if on this world people shed blood, thinking beautifully is
The way we are, because, after all, we are human
Into God, or something like that
We cannot become
1 This part I found really confusing, because I think what is written ("nare ya shinee sa") is spoken language that doesn't follow proper grammar. So I just assumed that the meaning is the same as the second time the stanza is repeated with "nare ga shinai sa".
2 This part also kind of confused me because of the sentence structure, but I think this is how it was meant to mean

3 "wa" is not written, but sung
4 written "ningen" but sung "hito"
5 written "chikyuu" ("world", "planet"), but sung "hoshi" ("planet")
6 written "wa" but sung "ga" (they mean more or less the same, but in this context, "ga" emphasizes a newly introduced fact, while "wa" emphasizes the negative statement)
