1 "but if still more come thrusting down for me" - the sentence structure here implies that he is/should be thankful for what is "thrusting down". Who knows what this thing is... sounds ironic... could it be medicine? O__O
2 I think every time "monkey" is mentioned in the song, he's referring that he's one of the "monkeys", as seen from an outsider's perspective。
