It’s just stupid, really.
Both of them are just so stupid and it’s beginning to irk me.
I watched him as he sighed repeatedly while drinking coffee. My role is the observer, the listener, and sometimes the advisor when he needs me to talk. Why me, really? Well, he does have few friends in this city, and it’s not even a year since he entered the band, making him talk to the person closest to him. I suppose it’s inevitable since I’m the one sharing the apartment with him.
But seriously!
It irked me when I can’t help but notice how silent he suddenly becomes when Kaoru’s around. How his eyes follow Kaoru now and then, but averts away when Kaoru’s eyes turned to him. Toshiya even thinks about Kaoru whenever he heard someone playing a guitar. I noticed from his sudden tenseness continued by a daydreaming look.
Because really, if only Toshiya would stop focusing on his flustered attitude, he would notice how much Kaoru tried to start a conversation with him. Their eyes never met for a mere coincidence, but because Kaoru actually stole glances at the other man too.
I thought about not telling them about what I noticed, because I think it’s useless unless they noticed it on their own. And because I’m Kyo, one who never meddles in other people’s business.
But people in love apparently get really dense and unconfident, making others twitches their fingers with impatience. I’m one of the others.
So, to save myself from further irritation, I think I’m gonna tell Toshiya that Kaoru had been asking me how the bassist’s doing. After that, I’m gonna tell Kaoru to stop hesitating and just glomp Toshiya already.
Just don’t do it in front of me.
