“Casey, can you come in here?” Jason asked casually as his partner walked past his temporary office.
She smiled and walked into the room. “Boss?” She sat on the desk and crossed her legs.
“See, that only works if you’re wearing a short skirt,” he told her as he closed the door.
“I’ll keep that in mind for the next time Brown leaves you in charge.”
He walked over to her and kissed her. “You think there’s gonna be a next time?”
She put her legs around his waist. “Why not? No one’s dead and for once Marvin isn’t in lockup. Yet.”
He laughed quickly. “Yeah, yet.” He pulled her tight to his body. “But if someone finds out about this…” he trailed off as he kissed her neck.
She glanced quickly to the closed door. “You locked the door, right?”
He nodded.
“Then… no one will find out. And when there is a next time, I’ll be sure dress like a dirty secretary.”
“But just in case there isn’t…” he trailed off again, running his hands up and down her thighs.
“I do like the way you think, detective. Just be careful not to knock over any spacemen figurines.”
