this is one of my MOST favorite sherlock/john stories. Seriously, I could swim in this verse and never come up for air its that good. I do hope author is willing to revisit this verse and give us MOAR!

Can't believe this didn't get 5 slashes - definitely my favourite thing in the fandom.

A couple of reasons for this:

Firstly, I found some of the dialogue just didn't "sound" right and secondly a Britpicker would have helped with that and a few of the other language/culture issues. The 4 slashes certainly isn't a comment on the quality of this verse. Limitations of our "ratings system" I'm afraid.

It's definitely up there in my faves list though.

Ah, that's fair. It's weird, the lack of britpicking hadn't bothered me, really (I normally stop reading the minute I notice inaccuracies), but flicking through now I can see a few things that might be distracting.
