The pacing was excellent and there wasn't a single dull moment; I really felt like the characters were real.
HAPPIEST HAPPIEST. I have such a problem with pacing long fics because I tend to lose motivation half-way through and that shows in how the scenes become rushed in the latter portion, but this time the AU hooked me right along with it. It made writing all the more fun. And here I have to say thank you for granting me extension upon extension so that I could complete a piece I am ultimately proud of and content with. Thank you ♥

OH. I really liked this. It feels like I am reading one of those thriller paperbacks :D I love the pace and the plot but what I love the most is the storyline. I love how you painted such a vivid picture of Kame (and Nakamaru, but really, it's Kame that jumps out at me). I like how he is amazing but flawed in this. Also, laughing at canon reference. HELLO VASE I MISSED YOU <3

I love the pace and the plot but what I love the most is the storyline

I haven't written such a plotty fic before and I didn't know how readers in our fandom would like it because the fic is more focused on character development through plot vs getting the characters together--but I just really got into the AUverse and had a lot of fun writing it so it delights me to know you enjoyed it too ♥♥ ah, Kame, my bb; extra happy that you liked his characterisation ♥♥

sob it's so hard not to write about Vase-san when it comes to drunk!Kame. that and taxis ;B
