Laughed and laughed until I almost cried and then about halfway through I turned into mush. I thought this was brilliant - the dialogue is so witty, the structure makes for a really hilarious + interesting recounting, and the confession scene was really, really sweet.

Omg Ueda, the poor, poor thing. His own eventful-albeit-fire-involving weekend overshadowed by these two 'cretins', and he just sits there and is forced to take it by that one moment of Tagumaru co-operation. I love how throughout the first half Junno is so insistent on telling his version of events complete with all his "absurd" (but true!) embellishments (sfjklahsjk does the iriguchi deguchi to his /own/ supposedly-empty cabin), and then we find out he entranced he is by Nakamaru, and how much he really, really wants to impress. ♥ Also how always-awkward Nakamaru was the one who got injured and embarrassed himself silly that weekend, then is the one to take charge in the dressing room. *___*

Aughhhhh *pounces* I am so delighted by this comment omg. All the things I was a bit doubtful of actually worked somehow and I just jknjkdfnkgndkjf

lol Ueda was so much fun to write though. He may have become my long-suffering witness to Tagumaru's ridiculousness but the way he had to put up with them in that one dame na yoru ep gave me a sense of how it must be for him with the two of them.

Taguchi was on this program where it was revealed he literally does his iriguchi, deguchi intro even backstage when he meets his costars for dramas. The thought horrified and amused me so much I had to integrate it. But yes, ugh you got all the little details I most love about writing Tagumaru and yes, that made me so happy.
