I LOVE this line. I know it's just one in a sea of many but I love it so much. You captured not only Derek's voice here but also his personality. I can see him thinking the way you wrote it in every situation. I especially like all his mentions of Garcia, because I love their relationship. I know a lot of people want it to be romantic, but to me it means so much more in a platonic way...it's lovely. I think this is one of my favorites so far and that's seriously no easy feat because they're ALL great <3. I loved it :)

Wow! Thank you so much! I'd always thought Derek's character might be more difficult for me to write or relate to, but ironically, it's not so. I also really love his friendship with Garcia. It's so unique and special. Yay for having a favorite! I can't wait to share the last 3 chapters with you!

I love sooooo many of these! Clooney of course! Soon. <3 The naked one, haha. The Ellie Spicer one, for the last line. And jelly doughnuts! So amazing. And ahhhh, the last one...because "Lauren" was the best ep EVER, and the last part reminds me of it! <3

Yay! I love Derek! Especially after watching him hold Emily's hand and be all amazing and fierce and such a man! Ugh! So grand!

You know? there's this board where I was having a nice discussion *more or less pulling hair anda calling names* about Morgan as a character, the way he's *accourding to the other person* always diminishing the girls and showing off and so, To me he's maybe the most loyal of the whole bunch, he's the protector, even if the rest want it or not, he's the one in charge of their security and he takes his works seriously.

I think he's the older child in charge, if you get my point, I liked how you wrote him like that, always concerned for his girls and his team, his family.

and I remember I started watching this show because of him shirtless LOL.

Thanks so much for sticking with this story! I know it is really long. I really enjoy Derek's character and I think it's interesting to explore. I agree with you and think he is very protective and serious about his work. And it is totally fine. No rush! :)

I wish I Could just sit one day and read all of this stories in one go, but stupid real life hates my ff reading...

I like Dereck Morgan I might relate with other characters but there's something in his protectiveness and the way he acts, even when he teases Reid that makes me wish I could be like that.
I hated Elie Spicer like you have no idea but he thinking about her as being a parent was so sweet!! like think was Epi 3 S6 when she's calling all the time, the way he talks about her made me go all Awww

BTW I finally cried my way throught JJ*cries a little more*
