I'm unsure how I feel about Klaus/Caroline. It came out of nowhere. It makes no sense. But I AM SO SHALLOW that their pretty is so hard not to appreciate. I fall flat on the floor for Joseph Morgan cheekbones so.....

I already love Klaus/Caroline purely for the pretty. Not giving Joseph Morgan some kind of love interest is a criminal waste of hotness and I'm fine with it being Caroline.

THIS COMMENT. Klaus/Caroline are so pretty. I want to make icons. I understand where Caroline might come from if she develops feelings for Klaus because he saved her life, but I don't get where Klaus is coming from. I need to know if it's genuine or a big scheme. Where did he get this necklace? Did he buy it after saving her life?

I swear Katherine was suppose to be in these past two episodes, did they explain her absence?

Yeah, I think Stefan really tried to hurt Elena this time. I was truly terrified that he was going to go through with it and when she questioned him about it and he had no definitive answer to whether or not he would of done it. I think it was the first time I truly didn't trust Stefan with Elena. I always did before even when he was compelled by Klaus.

At least then, he had an excuse. I'm hoping there is a deeper scheme to all of this and the ultimate goal isn't to push Stefan so far off that it makes Damon/Elena plausible. I knew DE were going to happen, and I'm not opposed to it like most but I don't like them destroying the integrity of Stefan's character for it to happen. If there was one thing I never questioned was Stefan's love for Elena and now I'm unsure.

i love Matt. i'm so glad they haven't gotten so bored of him all they could do would be kill him off. i'm so glad he's managed to stick it through!

Is it bad that I forgot about Jenna? But I feel like the show has as well, which is probably why all of the deeds Klaus has done didn't even factor in to me.

Like I said the couple as a whole makes no narrative sense. Klaus hasn't shown any redemptive qualities besides wanting his family to accept him. His softness towards Caroline made no sense unless it involves a scheme and Caroline just dumped Tyler for being Klaus's bitch.

But, I'm a shallow person. So I'm okay with it because they are pretty together.
