Nicholas Brendan (Xander from Buffy) was very friendly and he looked great. I thought maybe he was doing better but a couple of days after this he was arrested again for disorderly conduct or something.

That's too bad about Xander. But the Wheaton one cracks me up! Like he's either perfected his "I have to take a million photos" look, or he just loves making people's pictures look like they belong in Awkward Family Photos! :D

Right? Nicholas was so friendly and he just pulled us into him and hugged us tight. Wil just stood there awkwardly. It was weird. Maybe he doesn't like to touch people? It is funny though!

What a lovely photo with Xander. I heard about his arrest, which is unfortunate. Having recently started watching Criminal Minds, it is nice to see him in another TV show. I hope he is able to get his act together. He looks really good in that photo, as do you and your daughter.

Yes, the Wheaton photo looks a little awkward. You are all smiling, but it makes me think of a family that hates each other, all smiles, but underneath they want to kill each other. Where are the hugs, the relaxed bodies. Too funny. Even if he takes a million photos a day, he should be more friendly. You would NEVER see a picture like this with J2.

Yep, Wil was awkward. Not what we are used to at spn cons. But it was funny too. Oh well!

Nicholas does seem like the super friendly type of guy. Yep, he has a minor supporting role on Criminal Minds. He plays a tech geek, all nerdy and everything. A very different look that his appearance here.

You would think with all his appearances Wheaton would NOT be awkward with his fans. I guess not. Definitely not what we are used to with SPN Cons.

the first time I laid eyes on brendan was at my first SPN convention: chicago 2007. had no clue who he was! then I saw him on criminal minds and he looked exactly like his character (maybe he was "in character" mode at the con).
yeah, too bad about his addictions, which undoubtedly are the cause of his arrests.
that said, great photo ops. I had to chuckle at your will wheaton one: you all had the same pose! :D

LOL re Christmas card and photoshop. We were/are big Buffy fans so I knew who he was back when he appeared at the first con. I just didn't make it to that one. But not much later!
