I'm so full of squee it's all I can do not to capslock. I live in Toronto, but Vancouver's my home-town, and there's nothing better than Vancouver in August with our boyz. I'm so geeked. This will be the best con evah!

Hope it's okay that I crashed your page :)

Hi! No problem about crashing my page! Usually I flock my posts, but didn't on this one. Glad to meet you.

I am so excited for a convention in Vancouver. My friend (and fellow spn fanatic) both live in the Portland, Oregon area, so Vancouver is within driving distance for us. Plus I love Vancouver.

We went to a spn convention in LA last March and then we went to Chicago last month. We've also got our tickets for LA this coming March too. Once we went to one we had to go to more. I am not kidding! I kept saying it was like crack cocaine (not that I've ever tried crack!)-- One hit and I was addicted.

The boys are so funny together and are so gracious to their fans. I just adore them. Not to mention the hotness factor, but I won't mention that because I'm pretty much old enough to be their mother. Okay, I just looked at your profile and you were born the same year as I was, so I don't feel so bad. Ha!

See? Kismet. You didn't flock because we were meant to meet.

Holy crap, do you ever get used to meeting them? Basking in their hotness? I may faint at the thought... And yes. I'm that old. Bitch! LOL I'm still totally geeked!

Friends? Can you show me the ropes and hold my smelling-salts for me?

Of course I'll show you the ropes!!

No! No getting used to the hotness. Although I felt like I was a little less stressed out the second time around. The first time I did photo ops, I barely remember the experience...meaning I think I was in a daze. I really tried to 'be in the moment' in Chicago.

If you can afford it, I'd go for the Gold Ticket. You get closer seats and you also get some things that the other tickets don't get--usually a dessert party and a breakfast Sunday morning with the boys. The photo ops are extra, but I think it's worth it. It's over quickly, but then you have the picture forever.

Have you looked at the other spn Creation conventions to see what they include?

I'm so excited. It's a bad time for us (hubby is losing his job) but part of me doesn't care. I really want to go to this one.

Well, hell.

Guess I better get a passport...

LA doesn't tempt me and I visited Chicago a lot in the past. Always wanted to see Vancouver.

REALLY? REALLY? YES!

After I posted this, I was going to edit it and specifically ask you if you would consider it, but I was lazy and thought I'd just talk to you.

I've been to Vancouver a handful of times. It's a lovely city.

So is this a definite 'yes' a 'probably' or a 'maybe'? Would you do photo ops? *evil grin*

The show will be ending soon and you don't want to have regrets.

I originally thought it was Labor Day weekend, but it's not. There's one more weekend before school starts.

I got an email from my neighbor about working during tax season this year. I guess I need to work a lot of hours. Hee! (Not even taking into consideration whether Chris is working or not.)

So happy for you and K!!! So glad that you are going to go! LA is driving distance for us so it is great that you will have a con within driving distance for you! It will be great!

Also, so neat that you are getting snow - you are making me feel all "Christmas-ey". :D

Yep. It will be nice to have a convention within driving distance. It will really decrease the overall cost.

How did Chicago compare to LA in your eyes? I know it is the biggest, but what was your reaction?

Overall, I liked LA better. I liked that LA was smaller and I liked the hotel in LA better. The hotel in Chicago was a little rundown.

However, I felt a little more calm the second time around and I felt like I could really enjoy the boys more in Chicago instead of just being blinded by the light.
