Hotch turned from the window to face his old friend, “I’m not attracted to her, Jason. I just wonder why she’s here.”
“For the same reasons as the rest of us, I’m sure.”
“I don’t trust her.”
“It’s hard to trust someone who causes you to feel things you usually deny yourself.”
Hotch’s nostrils flared, “Damn it, Jason, I’m not attracted to Agent Prentiss!” He was…some things were just better to deny.
