“Reid, stop staring,” Prentiss hissed with as much gentleness as she could. One would think the young man was waiting for an Alien birth with the wary stare he gave their mutual friend’s stomach.
“I can’t,” he confessed, continuing to watch JJ’s pregnant belly as she napped. Then, suddenly, the bump gave a jump. “Gah!” Reid was startled so badly he fell back onto the floor.
JJ awoke with a start then started to laugh some along with Prentiss. “What happened, Reid?”
“It moved!”
JJ looked to Prentiss confused, “The baby kicked.”
“Oh,” JJ shook her head and laughed more.
