Reid eyed the insect with a determination anything outside a physics problem rarely gave him. He crept up on it slowly, carefully, like a tiger stalking its prey. Then he pounced!
“HA!” he cried, slamming his hand loudly unto Prentiss’s table. “I got ‘im!”
Prentiss, pulling herself back onto her chair completely, sighed, “Got what?”
“The bug,” he proclaimed proudly.
“Jeeze, Reid, you scared me half to death,” she gave a laugh.
“I’ve been stalking it all morning, I couldn’t pass on the opportunity to kill it.”
“Reid…” she paused, then smiled, “you’re a special guy.”
“Thanks!” he smiled back.
