Normally Hotch didn’t bother with the flu shot, he never saw the point since he rarely, if ever, got sick. That being said Jack needed one and he wanted to go with his son for support.
“Ready buddy?” Hotch asked as it came to be his turn at the clinic.
“Yup!” the boy chirped as he was settled onto his father’s lap, his shirtsleeve already rolled up.
“Just a pinch…” the nurse promised before jabbing the needle into the boy causing him to squeak in pain, then pout.
“You did great, Jack." Hotch kissed the top of his son’s head.
