“Huh?!” Hotch’s eyes bugged, then darted around before settling on Reid’s in utter, desperate, confusion.
Reid didn’t do much better; starting to choke on the swallow of soda he’d been taking.
“Uh…” Hotch stalled.
“Why are you asking?” Reid finally got out.
“Cause, here,” Jack pointed to the admittance sheet Hotch had been filling out, “it says, 'sex'.”
“Oh…so you can read that, huh?” Hotch asked, beet red.
Reid jumped in, “It means boy or girl…your gender.”
“Oh!” Jack smiled, “Put boy down, Daddy.”
