Nicholas paused when Ron made a choked sound, and he handed a handkerchief to the lanky redhead. 'When you were seven, you wanted a friend, someone who would play with you and make you laugh.' He smiled. 'It took me a while, but I eventually managed to get you a very good best friend.'

This is so sweet, and lovely, and all those wonderful things that make me feel warm & fuzzy inside. You've really captured the spirit of Christmas with this fic. Almost makes me believe in Santa Claus again. Just perfect. :)
