The fics are back up, and we're hoping you're as thrilled as we are!
We are working to put measures in place that will prevent downtime for the front page and hopefully eliminate downtime for the fics, on a going-forward basis, but it may take until September to get everything working properly. One thing we are planning to do is get an additional ( Read more... )

It seems it's back down again, something about "too many connection errors" and "unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts'".

Yes, it's gone back again- I've got the following message when trying to get onto FAP:

"There seems to have been a slight problem with the database.
Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.

An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists.

We apologise for any inconvenience."

Now it seems to be all of Dragon.com - I can't even get to the page to report that we're down. I have no idea what's going on anymore, but we're as frustrated as anyone.
