Fic Rec: Paging Dr. Justin...
save_vs_magic has done such an awesome job on one of the prompts I left at the omgjustinalex meme that I feel the overwhelming need to Rec it.
For those of you who aren't familiar with 'Wizards of Waverly Place', here's the very minimum you need to know before you go read it.
The Russo Family is a half Mexican (mother's side), half Italian (father's) family consisting of Theresa, Jerry, and their three children Justin, Alex, and Max. Theresa is mortal. Jerry is a wizard who gave up his powers to be with her. Despite not having his powers anymore, Jerry is teaching his three children how to use their innate magic so that they can compete in the family wizarding competition at some unspecified date in the future.
Perhaps because they have this specific goal, Justin and Alex are very competitive with eachother (they don't see Max as a threat), even moreso than normal sibling rivalry.
Alex Russo
Alex is manipulative, snarky, hates admitting any kind of 'soft' emotion, and generally avoids anything resembling hard work.
Justin Russo
Justin is intellectual, likes to follow the rules, and takes everything a bit to seriously.
Yet, despite the fact that they basically live to torment one another, Justin is very protective of Alex, and Alex cares for Justin a great deal.
