I've been playing a lot of Dragon Age: Origins the past few days. What has this to do with my post's title, you ask? Well, last night I had a dream where I was playing  'Veronica Mars' as an RPG game with the same style/mechanics as DAO! Obviously there wasn't as much blood and violence, so what I mean by the same style is that I controlled a party ( Read more... )

Your thoughts on its awesomeness? How epic is Morrigan and how slashy are Morrigan/Leliana? And Anora! <3 Who are you playing as and where are you in the plotline? ALL THE THINGS.

Well, if my blink-and-the-day-is-gone experiences have been any indication, the game is indeed truly awesome. I've started pretty much all the origins (Human Noble Rogue, Human Circle Mage, Dalish Warrior, and City Elf Rogue) save the dwarven origins. Mostly because I'm a bit afraid of how hard the Deep Roads are going to be. The one I've stuck with the longest has been my City Elf. She's gotten involved with Alistar but also has a flirtation on the side of Zavrian. We've been through Ostagar, Lothering, Red Cliff, parts of Denerim, the Bracillian Forest, and I'm working on the Fade part of the Circle.

I'm not sure how slashy Morrigan and Leliana are together, since Leliana hasn't been in my party much, but they are sooooo slashable with my characters. I'd already chosen to go after Alistar with my City Elf so it was hard keeping those two from becoming love interests as well. I definitely haven't met Anora yet. Is she a dwarven lady?
