When did the water get spilled on it? Was it turned on at the time?

Just a while ago, and it was. It just turned off after that.

You've got to let it dry. It'll take at least a few days, don't plug it in or turn it on in that time. You can pour some very high concentration rubbing alcohol on it to help it dry faster, then leave it to dry and hopefully it will be okay.
